Struck by the Perth Mint, the James Bond 1oz Silver Antiqued Casino Royale Chip Coin celebrates James Bonds famous poker win in Casino Royale (2006). The coin, struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, is part of a limited edition series of 2,500 pieces, and is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.
The coin has been individually ‘antiqued’ to give all the surface abrasions and age of a well-used chip. As a result, each coin is unique. The coin’s reverse has the design of a poker chip in red and gold detailing, based on the $100,000 chip seen on screen. It features the inscription ‘CASINO ROYALE’ and the 007 logo. The obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II supplemented with the dates of her reign ‘1952-2022’, the 2023 year date, weight and purity, and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in a acrylic fronted display case, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
