Series five of Icons Unearthed will focus on the James Bond franchise, and will premiere on 4 October 2023 on VICE TV (US).
Produced by the Nacelle Company, the documentary series narrated by Gloria Hendry will look back at the franchises illustrious 60-year history, and will include interviews with George Lazenby (James Bond, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service); Gloria Hendry (Rosie, Live and Let Die) Caroline Munro (Naomi, The Spy Who Loved Me); Catherine Schell (Nancy, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service); Terence Mountain (Henchman, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service; uncredited, Diamonds Are Forever); Andreas Wisniewski, (Necros, The Living Daylights); Trina Parks (Thumper, Diamonds Are Forever); and stuntman Vic Armstrong (You Only Live Twice, Live and Let Die, Tomorrow Never Dies).
The series will also feature behind-the-camera talent from the James Bond franchise, including director John Glen (For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, and Licence to Kill); screenwriter Jeffrey Caine (GoldenEye); sound designer Norm Wanstall (Dr. No, Goldfinger, Thunderball); Lee Pfeiffer, who co-produced several behind-the-scenes documentaries for various James Bond movies; plus, film producer Mike Medavoy (Zodiac, Black Swan).
The series will also feature interviews with James Bond experts Ajay Chowdhury and Matthew Field (authors of Some Kind Of Hero) Steven Jay Rubin, Lee Pfeifer and Matt Sherman.
