Struck by the Perth Mint, this special numbered edition coin celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Live and Let Die (1973). The coin, struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, is part of a limited edition series of 5,000 pieces, and is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.
The coin’s reverse features a painted colour image of James Bond (Roger Moore) in a classic pose with gun. Based on the film poster, the design includes the official Live and Let Die logo in colour and the Bond Family Crest bearing the motto ‘ORBIS NON SUFFICIT’ (The World Is Not Enough) and the number 50. The obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II supplemented with the dates of her reign ‘1952-2023’, the 2023 year date, weight and purity, and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in in a Live and Let Die box, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
