The Perth Mint pays tribute to the late Roger Moore with the release of a special silver proof coin. The coin, struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, is part of a numbered series of 5,000 pieces, and is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The coin’s reverse depicts a black and white image of Roger Moore in a classic James Bond pose, along with the iconic 007 logo and logos of his seven official Bond films – Live and Let Die (1973), The Man With The Golden Gun (1974), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983) and A View To A Kill (1985). The obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2022 year-date, weight, purity and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in a 007 branded case within a themed shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

The Perth Mint have released the second coin in their James Bond Legacy Series as a 1/4oz gold proof coin dedicated to Roger Moore.

The coin, struck from 1/4oz of 99.99% pure gold, is part of a series of 1,000 coins, and is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.

The coin’s reverse portrays Roger Moore in the classic Bond pose, along with the iconic 007 logo and the logos of his seven James Bond films; Live and Let Die (1973), The Man with the Golden Gun (1974), The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983) and A View To A Kill (1985). The obverse of the coin bears the Ian-Rank Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2023 year-date, weight, purity and monetary denomination.

Each coin is presented in a 007 branded case and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
