Struck by the Perth Mint, this special numbered edition coin celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Diamonds Are Forever (1971). The coin, struck from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, is part of a numbered series of 5,000 pieces, and is issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu.
The coin’s portrays a representation of Blofeld’s satellite and the iconic Moon Buggy in which Bond escapes Willard Whyte’s Tectronics Space Center in the Nevada desert, along with the official Diamonds Are Forever logo in colour, and the Bond Family crest bearing the motto ORBIS NON SUFFICIT (the world is not enough) and the number 50. The obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2021 year-date, weight, purity and monetary denomination. Each coin is presented in a 007 branded case within a themed slipcase and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
