In light of the ongoing COVID-19 Delta outbreak affecting large parts of the Australia’s East Coast, Universal Pictures Australia and MGM have today announced that the Australian release of No Time To Die has been push back from 30 September to 11 November, 2021 due to “changes specific to the Australian marketplace impacted by COVID-19“.
Currently, more than 60% of the Australian marketplace is in a state of lockdown, which the government mandated will remain in place until 70% of the population is vaccinated. Furthermore, businesses will be allowed to function normally once the country reaches an 80% vaccination rate, which is estimated to be in mid-November 2021.
* At the time of publication, the official Universal Pictures Australia website has yet to update the official release date, and still lists it as 30 September.
