German toy manufacturer, Playmobil, have announced the release of a James Bond range, starting with an Aston Martin DB5 to coincide with the release of No Time To Die (2021).
Usually, Playmobil announce new products at the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany, but due to the ongoing pandemic, the industry event was held online this year.
The officially licenced Playmobil Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Edition (Model 70578), is based on the Aston Martin DB5 featured in the 1963 film Goldfinger, and will feature authentic gadgets, including removable roof, passenger ejector seat, revolving number plates, tie slashers, retractable (non-working) machine guns, and four three-inch characters: James Bond, Goldfinger, Oddjob, and Henchman.
The Playmobil Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Edition will be stocked in Australia by Bunyip Toys, and is expected to be available in October 2021.
