Daniel Craig has reprised his role as James Bond, for presumably, the last time in a special sketch for Comic Relief.

The sketch features Britain’s best loved senior citizen, Nan (played by Catherine Tate), who has taken up a part time job as a cleaner at the Secret Intelligence Service. While cleaning the office of the head of the SIS, M, Nan finds herself face to face with James Bond 007, as he suddenly appears on a computer screen for his scheduled security briefing.

Catherine Tate filmed on the C Stage at Pinewood Studios, where M’s office was specially recreated for the sketch, while Daniel Craig filmed via green screen.

Since it’s first appearance on screen in 1962s ‘Dr. No’, M’s office is the only set retained and stored to be used again in future James Bond films.

M’s office and it’s double sided padded door, will once again be seen on screen when ‘No Time To Die’ is released in cinemas on 30 September, 2021.
