Moke America have today announced their official partnership with EON Productions with the release of the Limited Edition 007 “San Monique” Moke.
The electric and road legal San Monique is the first of several 007 Editions celebrating the James Bond franchise.
The San Monique Moke draws inspiration from the Caribbean, and is named after the fictional island featured in Live and Let Die (1973).
In the film, James Bond (Roger Moore) can be seen driving a white and blue Moke through the streets of San Monique with Rosie Carver (Gloria Hendry) on the way to the harbour to meet with Quarrel (Roy Stewart).
The Limited Edition San Monique Moke features the same striking white and blue design, and the unique “San Monique” artwork created for the movie.
The distinctive design features the iconic 007 logo, as well an elegant wooden steering wheel and gear shift, electric technology, black seats, blue and white striped Bimini Top, backup camera, Bluetooth radio and white rims.
Speaking on the partnership, Todd Rome, founder and CEO of Moke America, says “We are excited to partner with a brand that has such an authentic history with the Moke. Like Bond, Moke has its origins in the 1960’s and our first vehicle brings together two icons of modern culture that have shared roots in Britain and the Caribbean.”
The Limited Edition 007 “San Monique” Moke is now available to order in North America, the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the Middle East for US $26,975.
