Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan have been announced as presenters at this years Golden Globe Awards by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).
Daniel Craig is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for his role as Benoit Blanc in Knives Out (2019), written and directed by Rian Johnson.
The year long role, which in addition to handing awards to the presenters on the night, sees the chosen ambassador(s) represent the HFPA’s philanthropy work by selecting a specific charity as a focus for their endeavours.
Dylan and Paris partnered with the nonprofit organisation FEED, which delivers meals to school-aged children around the globe. In 2019, Paris traveled to Sri Lanka, where he shot a short film about FEED documenting the organisations work in the country.
Joining Craig as presenters on the night, are Ana de Armas and Rami Malek, nominated for their roles in Knives Out (Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy) and Mr Robot (Best Performance by an Actor In A Television Series – Drama).
Also expected to be present on the night are dual nominees Phoebe Waller-Bridge (No Time To Die) with two nominations for the final season of Fleabag (Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy), and the newly knighted Sam Mendes (Skyfall and SPECTRE) for 1917 (Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Director – Motion Picture).
The 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Ricky Gervais, will broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton on Sunday, 5 January, 2020 at 8:00 PM / 5:00 PM (ET/PT) on NBC.
